I am re-posting this painting due to a non-paying buyer. I also have it listed on Ebay at a starting price of $250. It is securely packaged and ready to safely be on its way.

I also own this print. What is interesting is while the name on the ship is Rimouski, the after end configuration is incorrect. The ship actually looks the Richiieu.

Stobart CSL Rimouski and Frontenac Painting

by Reiss Recollections » May 28, 2015, 10:30 am

I have not found verification of this, but believe this painting was commissioned by Canada Steamship Lines to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Painted by world-famous marine artist, John Stobart, it shows the CSL Rimouski with the first Frontenac in the foreground. Nicely framed by Proper Framing of Port Huron in a dark oak frame, measuring 29 1/2" X 24 1/2", the actual print viewing area is 221/2" X 17 1/2". $500 OBO and seller pays for shipping. Payment may be made through PayPal, bank check or cash on pick-up, if so desired.

You can also examine this print in person at the Annual Lake Huron Lore Maritime Flea Market on June 13th in St. Clair if it has not sold before then. Other framed prints and paintings may also be available. Ken Niemi [email protected]
