I am hoping to get a dive in on the Bradley next year or the following year and bring back some footage for Harry Fleming. He is the nephew of Elmer Fleming and a great professor at the local college down here. He told me that Elmer never recovered from the sinking and lost his life to heavy drinking a few years later. His nephew was the only one who was close to him that took care of him until he passed. He wants to put some personal items on the wreck for him and I will try to honor his request.

Well I also watched all of my Bradley DVDs today and also watched the November Requiem DVD as well. Now I know most of you have heard me say this every year on the Bradley Anniversary however if you do not have the November Reqiuem DVD or have never seen it before, I strongly encourage you to take the time and get the DVD and watch it as you will not be disappointed. This DVD and story on the Bradley is truly beautiful and touching but it is also very moving and you will get very emotional and feel sadness for the families and victims of the Bradley tradgedy and their losses and just what they had to endure waiting for news of their loved ones and then hard fact and reality of losing their loved one and knowing they will never come home again! It is also very moving and heart wrenching to see and view the bell recovery with Frank Mays but you also feel for those to that lost loved ones on the Bradley the first time they see and touch the bell is truly moving and emotional and you feel for them along with their losses. God Bless the Bradley, her crew and their families!

Amen to that drydock as I also remembered the lost crew today of the Bradley and thought about their families, Frank Mays and also the town of Rogers City itself. A very sad and hard day today indeed and with today's weather as far as rain and wind was even more harder to bear but hopefully this did not take away the spirits of those living in Rogers City and the families of the lost crew. We must NEVER ever forget them along with many other crews that went down with their ships and never came home such as the Fitzgerald and Morrell along with the victims of the 1913 storm the Armistice Day storm along with the Christmas Tree ship the Rouse Simmons. So many ships and crews to remember let us take this day not only to remember the brave crew of the Bradley but of others as well. May God Bless them!
