Don’t forget the Algolake as well! They were supposed to lay up this winter in Montreal but ended up in Valleyfield. I would imagine though come Spring at least, they will arrive in Montreal then wait for a tug and tow for overseas scrapping. The Algosteel and the Algoma Olympic as was mentioned earlier by another poster, will probably end up going overseas for scrapping and the Algoway as was also mentioned earlier by another poster will probably head to Port Colborne for scrapping come Spring. Another that has not been mentioned much is Algorail which did not run at all in 2017 and stayed in Goderich all season long laid up. Anyone hear or know where she may end up for scrapping at? My guess would be at IMS in Port Colborne but, will they tow out the Algoway first and scrap her then later do the Algorail afterward? If there is anyone who has information on this, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
