Watching tug Missouri nudge saltie Prosna into the Poe Lock this morning gave me a new appreciation for the skill and experience required by tug operators. Until seeing the precision used in this maneuver, watching tugs pushing/pulling barges on the St. Clair River was pretty much all I knew of their work. So, a big salute to tug masters and their crews! Since I was watching on the Soo Cam (link below) I can only imagine how much more exciting it would have been to see the action in person! b . ive-skycam
