I came across some info on these lighthouses while at Library and Archives Canada last year. If you're still interested, I'll dig it up and send it to you. Best to contact me directly: [email protected]

Toronto Lighthouses on the Eastern Gap - now removed

by Ken » February 10, 2011, 10:42 pm

We are doing some research on the two Lighthouses that were situated on Toronto's Eastern Gap for many years, removed in 1973, stored and then relocated to Humber Bay Park West in 1980. We know that the Lighthouses are now at the Etobicoke Yacht Club, and the Mimico Cruising Club.

Despite the information given in this link:
http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/lighthouse/onse.htm
...the actual dates of the installation of these two lighthouses on the Eastern Gap are not given.

Does anyone have a source of further information?

Thank you
