After many years I have decided it is time to sell off some of the Great Lakes items I have collected. Check back often as I will be posting various items over the next few weeks including photos, books, paper items, hats and other artifacts. Shipping will be by company noted, if no company is noted assume shipping will be via USPS priority mail with insurance and confirmation within the US, outside the US I will have to get a quote. For Sale:

(1) Life Jacket from Str. Irving L. Clymer. Made of foam, item has some dirt/grime but in otherwise good condition. Name is visible, chest strap is complete and has some adhesive reflectors still present along the edge of the piece. Asking $35 PLUS shipping, method TBD.

(1) Large lot of Bulletin newsletters published by the Lake Carriers Association. The first issue is from May-June of 1961 and last issue is May-June of 1980. I know from looking at these in the past there are maybe 4 missing otherwise they are complete for that 19 year span. Condition is fair to good and contain many interesting features especially from the late 60's and the building boom of the 1970's. Asking $50 w/shipping via USPS priority mail. For Sale:

(1) Set of coveralls from the Pioneer Steamship Company. Features large oval blue and white Pioneer patch on back and red and white 2nd Mate patch on left front chest. The material is a cream canvas/cloth material with long sleeves and brass buttons up the front and at the cuffs. Very good overall condition on this unique item.

(1) Set of coveralls from the Wilson Marine Transit Company. Features company name in blue stenciled on the back. This set was made by the same company as the Pioneer set above but features a brass zipper front and brass buttons at the cuffs. This set is also in very good condition.

Overall condition is fair. Also includes small snapshot of the vessel and handmade sign (possibly by crew) with ships name and year of construction. Notable in this log are the trips to assist with the salvage of the A.M. Byers following its collision with the E.M Ford early during the season.
