The post below is a description of the Mack is a Pic that was offered to the existing Crew at the time and date it was Taken. I remember it Well, because I was on Her at the time it was taken, I reported to Duty on Her During the Cuban Crises, it was in Dry Dock in Chicago at that time, So I was on Her from Sept 1962 until May of 1963, so the pic was taken during that period. USCG 348-227
