I will believe this hype when I see progress. many years have passed since the city tried in vain to sell this property. this property is living in the last century when steamers loaded with people brought not only people but cash to saint clair. the local folks remember bad service, broken down rooms, leaking roofs, parking problems and a very poorly run operation. the pictures in the article show the story.
this place should be torn down and the grounds turned into a park !
