38th Annual Midwestern Model Ships and Boats Contest & Display
Friday-Sunday, May 16-18, 2014
Wisconsin Maritime Museum (Manitowoc, Wisconsin)

Modelers from the United States and Canada will fill the Wisconsin Maritime Museum with exquisite models for the weekend. A modelers’ symposium, roundtable, and outdoor r/c model pond, and banquet are all part of the festivities. Visitors can even vote for their favorite model!

The Museum's archives will be open for research and blueprint access on Friday the 16th from 10-4 and Saturday from 10-12. Research appointments must be made no later than April 19th by contacting Caitlin Clyne at 866-724-2356 x111 or email

Saturday evening's banquet will feature a program by Gary Schmidt, a freighter/tug captain for 40 years, on "Real, Honest Sailing with a Great Lakes Captain."
