Lighthouse blueprint Display

I was at the Michigan Historical Center today (702 W. Kalamazoo Street,Lansing MI) and noticed that they currently have a nice display of about 10 full size hand-tinted architectural drawings for several Michigan lighthouses. Wonderfully done photo reproductions actually, of 1860-1880's drawings. Historic photos mixed in. I'm not a lighthouse "nerd" but the ones I recall are the Mackinaw City light, some big tower on a point near Pentwater, and a "schoolhouse" design that was used in four locations (near Toledo, Marquette, Copper Harbor? and Ontonagon?) I assume the original drawings reside in the state archives.

Not a big exhibit by any means, probably just a way to make the snack bar look more presentable and educational. But worth a brief visit if you happen to be in Lansing on a weekday between 10am and 5 pm. (weekend and evening hours eliminated in the last state budget)
