An Algoma boat leaving Sandusky.

Algo-something at the Sandusky coal dock. That dock seems a bit busy this year. I got to see the coal chute in action. What a fascinating process.

I caught the Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin coming into Sandusky presumably to load coal.

I spotted what I think is the Algosoo at the Sandusky coal dock. This is the only shot I was able to get before someone took control of the camera from me.

I like it.

I figured the boat horns and the aerial lift bridge horn would be enough of a wake-up call.

There's an icebreaker in Sandusky Bay, possibly preparing for Algorail to show up to load coal.

This is somewhat unrelated, but I just realized that I worked with the guy who wrote that. We worked together at my last job. I might send him an e-mail about it since he did such a good job on it.

I adore the Marblehead Lighthouse. It's got such a classic look to it. It's also the oldest lighthouse on the lakes in continuous operation. And it's the only lighthouse on the lakes I've visited. I loved seeing the green light from across the bay from Cedar Point.

Here you go, BK. The boat looks pretty far forward on the dock to load. Maybe it's unloading? I'm not too certain why it's in that position. It doesn't appear to be moving.

It's pretty hazy.

A little difficult to see, but it appears that there's a tug-barge there dredging the coal dock.

So is it luck of the draw, Boatkitten, or do you have a schedule of boats arriving and departing Duluth? Because I visit that cam all the time, and seldom do I seem to catch anything.
