Articles On Engineering Plants Or Vessels
Back in the day, the 1950's, shipping companies would have their new vessels show cased in SNAME publications or Marine Engineering. I am not looking for originals but copies of originals of such related articles on the following vessels:
1) George M. Humphrey
2) John Sherwin
3) Herbert C. Jackson
4) Edward L. Ryerson
5) Either Boland, Edison or Munson
6) C4 Conversions
7) T2 and/or T3 Conversions
8) Sparrows Point Class
9) AAA Class
In addition, and this is a long shot...
11) Maritime Class
12) Super Class (Fraser Class)
13) Anything Detailed Article On The Turbo Electric systems on either the Robinson, or the Bradley
Does anyone have any ideas that won't cost an arm and a leg? Just looking for information, not collector items. Does anyone have copies of such articles that would be willing to copy for a modest fee? The reason is I am a former marine engineer on the lakers and would love to read more about the plants as built. Thanks.
