The north drydock is deeper. It's the only one on the Great lakes that can handle the Presque Isle.

One is wet, the other is on the blocks.

How are the ships at different heights? Is one drydock deeper than the other?

It's really nice to see two working vessels @ PWDD getting various things done. I know the Algosar was there this winter with the Algoma Discovery but it was just getting stripped before being towed to IMS.

Well so much for my hunches!

Paul Martins last survey was the same place over the winter of 2010-2011. She sat beside John B Aird as I recall.

Who is actually doing the survey? ( Algoma Ship Repair??? )

I doubt Paul Martin will be doing a survey at Port Weller.
The dry dock is owned by the Seaway and surveys are done on Algoma boats by Algoma Ship Repair.
Also there is still one empty dry dock at Port Weller if she was to be surveyed they would have put her in the dock right off.
I believe her last survey was done at Port Weller when it was still in business and she sat in the presently empty dock beside John B. Aird if I recall.

Where can I find the CSL thread???
Scroll down the Information Search page to the subject "How Many Ships Does CSL Currently Have In Service?".

Or here is a direct link:http://newsearch.boatnerd.com/viewtopic ... 6&t=101550
