The interactive steering of the Elba at the Door County Museum is fantastic! Very realistic and a lot of fun!

The Elba's pilothouse is installed at the Door County Maritime Museum, and has just been revamped as an an interactive display so one can "pilot" through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal.

She was used as a floating Drydock by Peterson Builders for many years. Towed to Marinette and scrapped approx. 1996 Or 1997 I believe.

Is there anything left of the former Bethlehem crane ship Elba? She was supposedly sold to Peterson Builders in the late 60's and BGSU isn't showing a scrap date and an open ended record.
