tug Salvage Monarch on the move
Re: tug Salvage Monarch on the move
Thank you for advising that the Salvage Monarch is underway with the Group Ocean dredge and equipment used in the Sarnia dredging project late last season
Re: tug Salvage Monarch on the move
Returning a small Groupe Ocean dredge to Quebec.
Re: tug Salvage Monarch on the move
Does anybody know what the Salvage Monarch is doing? I see on AIS that the Monarch is crossing Lake St. Clair down bound at 5.8 knots. She is showing a destination of Quebec. Does this mean that she is towing a ship from Sarnia to an over seas tow?

tug Salvage Monarch on the move
A surprise transit up bound in the Welland Canal today was the tug Salvage Monarch. She seems to have been joined by the tug Sharon MI (which left its barge Niagara Spirit at wharf 11). Last AIS position was nearing Long Point with both tugs travelling together. Wondering if any readers might know where they were going? Salvage Monarch appeared to be in good condition. Last time seen alongside the old Marsh DD at Rameys Bend around 2010. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Barry
