Chief Engineer Kenneth Marcelle passed away
Re: Chief Engineer Kenneth Marcelle passed away
According to an article in the December 1984 issue of ASC Soundings, Kenneth Marcelle started sailing as an Oiler with REISS in 1953 on the J. L. Reiss.

He worked for ASC he was C/E on the M/V SAM LAUD when I was on her nice guy from sturgeon bay and a PACKER fan
Re: Chief Engineer Kenneth Marcelle passed away
Quite sure he started his sailing days with Reiss in the mid-fifties and then went to ASC with the selling of the fleet in 1969. I've seen his name on Reiss Thanksgiving menus and crew lists, but never met him.
