American Spirit
Re: American Spirit
They arrived in Toledo very late last night into the middle portion of last night to today for lay up and they went to the Torco Dock across from the Live Pad where they unload the Taconite Pellets at. So the American Spirit and the H. Lee White are both together at that dock across from the main portion at Torco where they unload at. Hope that I'm making sense the way that I am describing all of this for you. This now makes two 1,000 footers that arrived for Winter Lay Up with at least four more yet to come! Still expected yet are the 1,000 footers American Century, American Integrity and the Edgar B. Speer along with the Indiana Harbor. Also due in yet for lay up is the American Mariner. Definitely lots of traffic still yet to come in for lay up and making it a very crowded and packed full house in Toledo this winter. Sorry to go off subject and topic if I did here. Hope that my information has helped out anyone here.
Re: American Spirit
With the help of 2 tugs and now the USCGC Neah Bay, she is on the move at 1026.
Re: American Spirit
Waiting for ice breaker escort to Toledo. May happen Thursday or Friday.
Re: American Spirit
I'm guessing ice. USCGC Neah Bay is very close to Conneaut. Maybe she will do some ice breaking
Re: American Spirit
The Spirit unloaded at Conneaut overnight and should now be headed to cleanout and then to Toledo.

American Spirit
Anyone know what's going on with the Spirit? She was headed into Conneaut, Ohio, but now the AIS shows her heading SW toward Mentor and Geneva on the Lake. TIA.
