Algoma Sault departed Davao 12 February. AIS showing ETA Balboa 17 March.

That would make arrival in Canada, possibly Sept Iles, around the end of March. Doubtful to be at St Lambert before early April at best.

Yeah I knew that one Guest it's just I needed a good laugh out of that one from Mr. Link and where he came up and found that on the web LOL! I never figured in the first place in spite of what I had said and mentioned in my earlier post, that they would name a ship after a mop. That was never intended to be anything negative on my part. Again, I think I just got too caught up in the moment after looking at Mr. Link's website link to the mop photos. I agree with you though as he was just having a little fun out of it and also trying to make a joke out of it as well. We could all use a little fun and laughter right now with this long winter and cold snowy days right now! I think I speak for many that are ready for Spring and the return of our favorites on the water again. Sorry to go off the topic and subject here folks. So much for Global Warming at least for this winter and predictions of a Mild Winter that is for certain!

Mr. Link was making a joke. The ship IS NOT named after a type of mop.

Thanks for the links on that Mr. Link. I have seen those photos of the Algoma Endurance on shipspotting and agree that it looks like they will be working on her for a while yet. Also, that is amazing that they would name the Algoma Endurance after a type of mop of all things. Sure is interesting to see how Algoma has named a few of their ships lately.

Photo of Algoma Endurance from early December shows that they are still working on her.

And just in case you were wondering who the namesake is :-)

This going off subject but, what about the Algoma Endurance which was launched in 2017 at Croatia? What is her latest status although I would suppose that she is still under construction yet at Shipyard in Croatia? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Algoma accepted Algoma Sault from shipyard and departed Feb 3rd for Canada. ETA Canada late March. May be a race to St. Lambert for Seaway opening between Algoma Sault and Innovator. Maybe both will lock through back-to-back..
