Heads up to all you Bay City and Saginaw area boatnerds and also boatwatchers! The foreign flagged tanker YM Saturn just entered the St. Lawrence Seaway with a destination of Bay City, Michigan to unload or load cargo. This will be the vessel's first ever visit to the Bay City area. The ship is registered from Malta and has one sistership the YM Jupiter. The YM Saturn is due at the Eisenhower Lock in Massena, New York in the early morning hours on June 2 and normal travel time is about 2 days to Detroit along with the Port Huron area. If all goes well on their transit and there are no delays with traffic and weather, look for her to arrive around either June 4 or sometime on June 5 in the Bay City area. Get your cameras ready!
