He actually sounded better than when I heard him in Ann Arbor last summer. His voice is a shadow of what it once was. But I admire him for hanging in there. His fans love him.

I just watched the show (thank God for DVR). Gordon sang IYCRMM. He is currently on tour promoting his "50 years on the Carefree Highway". Aparently if you go to Jimmy Falon dot com there is a 2nd song that Gordon sings. I haven't seen that one yet.

Sadly Gordons voice is a far cry from what it used to be. His lung capacity is weaker and the ability to reach some of the higher notes is all but gone. He still ranks as the musical act that I have seen the most times in concert (6).

A Canadian icon, no doubt.

Darn it I missed the segment where Gordon Lightfoot was on the show. I started watching it after 1 A.M. and didn't see anything so he must have been on before that time at least. Oh well, have to do a search for it I guess on the internet. If someone has any footage of Lightfoot's appearance, can they please post it here? Thanks so very much as I am sure many would want to see it.

Ohio Bob do you have a VCR or a DVR? If you do maybe you can try to tape the program or have someone help tape it for you. Don't know if you can view the program online after it airs on TV but, might want to check that out as well and look into it.
