The ice is about 36" in the harbor but loose. The piles on shore are probably over 10' thick though

As usual, Dennis O'Hara has a few good shots. If the ice is really 10' feet thick, it's gonna get crowded out there.

Crowded anchorage as they wait for Alder to break the ice. Reports are that the ice is ~10 feet thick at the end of the piers.
