The only place I'm aware that has restored antique compasses is Viking in Boston. They specialize in Richie but can do others. Expect prices to range from $600-2200 depending on if you want it working, lighter, displayed, etc.

I have an old pilot house compass with the bottom panel for lighting. The liquid has become opaque and I would like to have the whole thing renewed. Does anybody have any experience or suggestions for a vendor who reconditions these? It's from the Donner.
