This is truly a part of history that seems to be forgotten.

I would love to see more literature and pictures of this carrier that trained so many people to serve the war effort.

WW-II aircraft carrier Wolverine

Found this picture in my files of the Aircraft Carrier Wolverine passing under the Bluewater Bridge on its way to Lake Michigan, where it went in service in January 1943. This picture was taken at the dock & office of Bizz O'Connor, and that is his boat at his dock with what looks like snow on the deck, so this picture was likely taken that January. Bizz used his boat to run supplies & whatever to passing boats. I would like to find more information about Bizz & his business.
