On my iPad, I use an app called Atomic Web Browser. I could not get AIS to work and was playing with the emulation settings. Once I set it to Firefox emulation, AIS worked perfect. For some reason the IE emulation would not work. There is a "Lite" version of this app. I am not sure what the difference between that and the paid version is, but you might download that and try it.

Does anyone know a quick fix for I-pod or I-pad with trouble loading "live" screens like AIS web sites with vessel maps, or other pages like weather maps? Over the weekend both devices stopped loading those types of pages. Everything else works but any sort of live updated screens. The desktop 'puter works ok on the same Verizon Fios system. If I take the mobile device somewhere else it works ok too. It's only at home that these sites won't load? Both devices use the Safari browser ap. If I switch to Photon it works.
