Always thought it would be nice to build a model lighthouse. Are you working off plans? Did you find any? There is a few at the Library of Congress. http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/ampage?collId=hhsheet&fileName=wi/wi0600/wi0665/sheet/browse.db&action=browse&recNum=0&title2=North%20Point%20Lighthouse,%20Milwaukee,%20Milwaukee,%20WI&displayType=1&maxCols=2&item

Lighthouses: any lighthouse model builders out there? need tips on lamp rooms, lighting systems, rotation mechanisms, ways to make a twisted iron ladder, how to make iron railing systems, sources of brick, etc. my first lighthouse is the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse and is being stored in Port Austin this winter care of Lou Schillinger.
