Yeah the Leitch had her last survey over the winter of 2012/2013 in Thunder Bay, and of course she was not painted when that took place. She'll be due winter of 18/19. Who knows if that will take place or not.

She did. Didn't come out until late spring from the Toledo yard.

Also, the American fleets usually do the 5 years as the name implies, every 5 years. The Canadian fleets are typically the ones that opt for a 1 year extension.

Most ships get a 5-year every six years as standard practice. By my observation, the following ships should require one this winter, as their last one will have been six years ago:
Algoma Olympic, Algoma Transport, Algosteel, Salarium, Spruceglen, Arthur M. Anderson, Lee A. Tregurtha, English River, Cuyahoga, Robert S. Pierson, Ashtabula, and Menominee. There could be several others from the U.S. fleets that I'm missing, and it's always possible that a vessel will go into drydock a year or two early.

The Baie St. Paul likely will not require one until next winter, and the Equinox the winter after that.

Thanks for those up dates everyone. What about a few others here such as the Algoma Equinox who arrived on scene in late 2013 as well as the other CSL Trilliums such as the Whitefish Bay along with the Thunder Bay and Baie Comeau? Those three arrived here during the 2013 shipping season. Anyone from ASC, GLF or Interlake due up for any five years this winter or ones from Algoma, CSL or LLT ships? Thanks for any information anyone may have much appreciated here.

Baie St. Paul arrived in Canadian waters in Dec. 2012, so she should be due this winter
