Carr's Hobbies
Re: Carr's Hobbies
There is a Hobby Shop in Traverse City that has Great Lakes Freighter models. Don't know about the quality, as I just saw one in the window and a couple on the shelf.

What is the "right" price?Bigboat wrote:I have a model of the Fitz I bought many years ago and never touched. I still have the receipt taped to the box. Would think about selling for the right price.

Re: Carr's Hobbies
I have a Carr's hobby Fitz I barely started years ago but is still in the original box and should be complete. The only thing I did was begin carving down the hull blank and I never got to far. If you are interested in it E-mail me at [email protected] and make me an offer. I'd like to see someone bring life to this model.
Re: Carr's Hobbies
They are still in business but they no longer sell the kits of the Fitz or the other freighter.
