The Algolake coming into Duluth.
I guess when our temps in the 90s and humidity in the 70s hits that cold air from
the 38 degree Lake water, a little fog forms. Glad that muggy weather will be gone tomorrow.
It started raining a couple of minutes after these pics were taken and cleared out the boat watchers.

Didn't she just spend time at Frasier for that problem?

There is a 4th tug boat in that fleet is there not?
There is; the North Carolina. She's diesel-electric powered if I'm not mistaken, which means she's not as good as GLT's other Duluth-based tugs for 'normal' operations but excels in ice. She's typically only used early and late in the season and in addition her profile is a bit different than the other three Duluth-based GLT tugs, enough so that even at the distance and resolution of that webcam capture it would probably show.

So unless GLT sent a tug to Duluth to sit in for the Kentucky while she's in drydock, that's either the North Dakota or Minnesota.

Wind, and the stern thruster is out on the LAT.

It's not the Kentucky, because she is in the drydock at MCM Marine at the Soo right now.

Algo-something at the Sandusky coal dock. That dock seems a bit busy this year. I got to see the coal chute in action. What a fascinating process.
