Soo scanner?

Is it a money issue or time issue? I would chip in a few $ if that's the prob. I live far away and can't help otherwise.

I was wondering if the Soo scanner is working? It says it's online but for a few weeks when I've tuned in I've not heard any radio traffic. Thanks.
