Fitzgerald’s maiden voyage

Hard to believe and imagine that tomorrow on September, 22, 2023 will then be 65 years ago that the Edmund Fitzgerald sailed on its maiden voyage if I’m correct? Back then she would become the new Queen of the Lakes and later that season in November, sadly the former Queen the Carl D. Bradley would be lost in a November storm on Lake Michigan! Who would’ve thought then and imagined that 17 years later, the Edmund Fitzgerald too would also be lost in a November storm. May their legacies, legends and crews rest in peace and live on forever as well as all ships lost on the Great Lakes and their brave crew.
