As of 6:15 p.m. the Munson is off of Marquette at this time.

They were probably confused with the Mesabi Miner's load to Taconite Harbor. Makes you wonder how many other facts they get screwed up!

KBJR-TV here in Duluth had a story on the Munson departure and the reporter said she was loaded with 57,000 tons of taconite for Garry, Ind. Too bad they can't even get the basic facts right.

The Munson and the USCG Cutter Alder are both off of the tip of the Keewenaw as I type this at 12:40 p.m. ET on March 24.

The Munson backed out of Fraser Ship Yards today, moving over to the fuel dock. It will shift to the West Duluth ore dock to load for Gary and should leave Monday morning.
