There was a report on the Boatnerd news page for September 17. The only announcement was on the FB page of IMS owner Wayne Elliott.

The Toronto Marine Historical Society's October issue of Scanner reports that both Manistee and St. Clair will be scrapped at Port Colborne. Apparently the announcement was made by Marine Recycling on September 16, but I can't find any newspaper or company blog mentioning this. The company is waiting on MarAd (Maritime Administration - US government agency) approval for both vessels' sale to Marine Recycling.

There was talk that the st clair and manistee were going to be towed to scrap this fall. Anyone have any idea when this is going to happen? Would like to get a few pics before they meet their demise.
