The Munson and Callaway are waiting in the ice field for the Mackinac to finish breaking ice in Thunder Bay. The Mackinac will transit down and pick up the Munson then move to pick up the Callaway and make the transit down to the Soo.

So the Presque Isle had to turn back, but there are the Callaway and the Munson? Didn't they all leave at the same time to head east? Seems like they had the Mackinaw with them.
