Rob and Capt. Metz you are both quite welcome. Capt. Hartley and 1st Mate Bates were both super nice to a couple of novice boatnerds(myself and Duncan White) back in the 1985. They allowed us on board whenever they were loading in Sarnia first with the Birchglen and later with the Willowglen. We also received many salutes under the Bluewater Bridge.
I will post some of the Willowglen loading in the near future.

Thank you Marc for the pictures of the Birchglen. Tom Bates was my ! st. Mate on the Judith M. Pierson, he was also a Captain and a very good ship handler. I never work with Jack Hartley but knew him very well as we both sailed for Soo River & P & H.
