This evening I went to visit Skip at the Hotel Dieu Shaver hospital in St Catharines. He is in great spirits, has a twinkle back in his eyes and is determined to recover from his illness. His physio is going well and he expects to be home in about a week to ten days.

He passes on his regards to all his friends and acquaintances and hopes to see many of you along the canal again in the near future.

It was great to see him!
