Depends on when the photo of the WNIDOC was taken and when the HYDRUS photo was taken. Keep in mind we could be talking of a range of dates from 1916 to 1967- that's a half a century, a lot of changes take place over those years. Often the all wood superstructure of a vessel was totally removed and replaced with a steel structure. So, if you are looking at a photo from the ninteen-teens as opposed to one from the 1940s of the same vessel it is not uncommon at all to see that their cabins look very different. Likewise, they can also look very much the same. It depends on the individual vessel and its own personal history.

Now I'm even more confused. The pic I have looks nothing like the Windoc's pilothouse. Did she have her pilothouse rebuilt or something? My pic has a pilothuse like the D. L. Philbin in this pic http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/histor ... ep-pcl.jpg

The upper pilothouse pic is of vessel that replaced the Hydrus lost in the storm- Globe Iron works hull 77 L. 1899 as M.A. HANNA, bought by Interlake and came out in 1916 as HYDRUS. She was sold Canadian to the Paterson Line in 1927 and renamed WINDOC, sold for scrap in 1967. The upper pilothouse pic is often used as the 1913 HYDRUS, but photos of the lost HYDRUS actually taken in 1913 show her without that pilothouse- which, BTW were not really popular until the 1920s. I have 5 of the Calcite and 4 of the Regina, none are really high quality but they may help. Let me know if you want me to e-mail them to you.

I've already checked there but there is only one that was taken while she sailed for the Bradley Fleet. http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/fleet/thumbb/SH8.jpg

While I was looking at them I noticed 1 that was labeled as the Taylor but was the Cedarville.

I'm trying to find some pics of the Myron C. Taylor while she sailed for the Bradley Fleet. (1956 to 1967?) I'm building a model and I need reference pics.

Oh, while I'm thinking about it, I could also use pics of Hydrus, Argus, Regina, Kamloops, and Calcite. I'm not holding my breath on these, but you never know.
