I managed to catch it on the Port Huron webcams and confirmed that it was the St. Louis. I had suspected that it was a Littoral ship, but I could find nothing about the departure in the Menominee/Marinette news.

Thanks you to those that provided the answer !

US Government Vessel 19 - details wanted ?

This vessel passed through the Straits of Mackinac, South Channel during the night doing 27 knots. Currently down-bound in lower Lake Huron off Port Hope at 13.3 knots, should pass Port Huron in a few hours. AIS listed as traveling from Menominee to Marinette, clearly outdated information. Anyone have an ID and/or additional information on the this vessel? MMSI lookup came up empty.
