From looking at the Soo Locks webcam on September 28, 2022from the Tower of History, it looks like the pilothouse has been removed from the Mississaugi along with some of its unloading boom. Has there been any additional cutting?
As a side note does anyone know why there is a blacked-out area across from the Coast Guard station on Water Street as the camera pans the river near the Valley Camp? I'm assuming this is to obscure something from the viewer but by looking at Google Earth there appears to be nothing at that location that would warrant this to be done. Possibly property owner complaint?
