I'm curious if anyone has any updates on two tugs that made the news back in January.
First, a (assuming it was small) tug was lost in Conneaut when a work barge capsized. Was the tug ever located? There were fears that it may still be afloat, possibly also capsized, somewhere on Lake Erie.
Second, does anyone have any updates on the ATB Michigan that partially sank in Milwaukee in January? I assume the engine room flooded, so how extensive will the repairs be? Will it need to visit a shipyard? Any work underway? I understand that it may have been laid up for about 9 months prior to sinking. Does anyone know when it last operated?
