The current position of EDGAR B. SPEER is at Great Lakes reported 3 hours ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to STURGEON BAY, WI, sailing at a speed of 8.7 knots and expected to arrive there on May 22, 15:30. The vessel EDGAR B. SPEER (IMO: 7625952, MMSI 366971330) is a Self Discharging Bulk Carrier built in 1980 (43 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of United States (USA).

The speer is heading to sturgeon bay shipyard, still having engine problems after only making one trip?

I see the speer is out and ais shows a destination of two harbors but yet they are way over by Cleveland. Breaking the engines in before they head up river?

What’s the delay in getting the speer out and sailing? They were scheduled to be in Duluth may 1st.
