James R. Barker and Mesabi Miner have both made trips to deliver taconite pellets to Nanticoke in recent years

US Steel has a contract with Stelco to supply their iron ore pellet needs from their mine/taconite plant in Minnesota. I think it's a 25-year contract.

So ASC and Great Lakes Fleet carry those pellets to Nanticoke. Interlake doesn't have the contract, that's why you don't see their ships going to Nanticoke.

Why don’t any of the interlake ships deliver to nanticoke? It’s always Great Lakes fleet going there. I think the Indiana harbor has delivered there before. I see that the great republic is on her 2nd trip to deliver Indiana harbor!
