Denny, The Joyce has been pushing the Michigan Trader for over a month now. Online photos show them upbound together at the Soo on December 14th, (while the Joyce was pushing the Great Lakes Trader until at least December 7th.)

Don't know why, but that's the advantage of interchangeable tugs and barges.

Noticed this morning on the Live Cameras this morning the Joyce L. VanEnkevort was downbound this morning on the St. Clair River headed for Toledo. I also noticed they were pushing the Michigan Trader NOT the Great Lakes Trader! Anyone know why and when this happened as far as the switch in barges? The Dirk S. VanEnkevort I see on AIS has been in Toledo and layup for quite a while now. Did they layup with the Great Lakes Trader in Toledo? Any info and full details of all this is greatly appreciated. Thank You.
