It did, the subsidiary organized as Ontario-Lake Erie Sand, Ltd.,incorporated 24 December 1968 and re-incorporated 31 October 1985 as Niagara Sand Suppliers, Ltd., affiliated with McKeil.

I saw a report from the 70s that stated the W.M. Edington (Niagara II) would possibly be transferred from the Canadian subsidiary of Erie Sand to National Sand Fleet. Did this transfer ever take place?
