They arrived in Sarnia around 9:30 A.M. on March 13 for layup. The Jackman before laying up in Sarnia indeed fueled in Sarnia at the Shell Fuel Dock in Corunna, Ontario and sorry if I mis-spelled that. Now as I mentioned earlier in my previous post, you have 3 Algoma vessels all moored and rafted together at the Government Dock. This has happened before and often to where Algoma would do this. As mentioned in my earlier post and my comments, it’s ironic the last 3 ships that Algoma has built from 2020-2024 are all laid up together in Sarnia now. The Algoma Intrepid built in 2020, the Captain Henry Jackman in 2021 and the Algoma Bear in 2024. Also it’s the first time the Jackman has laid up in Sarnia. The Algoma Bear also its first time laying up in Sarnia but, she was new and 2024/25 was her first season! The Algoma Intrepid has laid up before in Sarnia.
