Tried to put this pic. on last night. I guess I'm not doing something right. One more try.

Hi,
The Jackson is loading coal at Sandusky this morning. I Love to watch!

Re: HCJ

I see the Jackson is coming into Sandusky. Wish the Funcam was working. Thought I'd watch her come in on the Register cam, but there's some kind of tug-of-war going on with that cam to look at the manholes and the clouds.

As a general rule (when weather, Soo or river traffic, etc. don't come into play) it takes about 17 hours from the Soo (cams there) to Port Huron (cam there) and another 5 to the Detroit River (cam there). Lake Erie travel time can be very iffy, especially when storms & winds blow in from the west and the water level drops.
Upbound to the Soo, a little more than an hour north of Port Huron is Port Sanilac. This is the link to the cam under Port Sanilac Marina http://links.boatnerd.com

Hey, Isn't she loading grain this time? I was thinking it was grain this time for Buffalo. I'm not sure that's right though.
I just checked out that cam too. I can't wait to see it in the daylight! I get all excited about good things like that.

Thanks DC, but I see she's already there & I just got this. I'll check out the cam though. I hate I missed her going in. Mine & my friend's schedules have not worked well lately, so not as "up" on things as I'd like.
While I'm on here, Where is that Sailor13 who told us some things once?
Thanks again DC.

I just recently discovered this live Duluth Lift Bridge webcam: http://www.duluthshippingnews.com/dsntv.html
The sidebar schedule shows her due at Duluth between 20:30 & 21:30 today.
Hope you can see her then.

It sure was storming! I was there -- first of a two-day escape to Lake Huron & the St. Clair River. Tornado warning sounded at Lexington, but major downpours were the major event, with streets flooded and power out in the NE part of Port Huron. Didn't last long, though.
