No problem there Great Laker & Boatnerd. Thank You and Boatnerd for doing my story and the great 👍 job you all have done for us in 2025. It is great to know that we boatnerds have such a great group of volunteers and dedicated as far as contributing, volunteering and doing what they can to keep this site going and as great as it’s been. Happy Holidays to all boatnerds & volunteers. Enjoy the holiday season and enjoy the Winter Time Off as well. You all have earned your stripes and deserve it for a great year! Thanks for all that you do for us.

Polsteam Wigry Photo

In today’s News Reports on boatnerd, there is a photo of the Wigry owned by the Polish Steamship Company or Polsteam of Poland. A new ship built for the Polsteam Fleet, the Polsteam Wigry was recently added to their fleet then. The photo of the Wigry should in fact be a photo of the Polsteam Wigry and not of the Wigry which is what’s shown on the News Page! Polsteam Wigry has four deck mounted cranes on its cargo deck has a very dark deep blue hull and looks similar to the Polsteam Dabie using that just as example only. The Polsteam Dabie has three cranes on its deck whereas Polsteam Wigry has four of them. If the News editors at Boatnerd News can find a photo then of the Polsteam Wigry, I hope that they will make that change and update on the News Page then. Thank You so very much.

The photo on the news page today is a much smaller, older ship.
