The American Spirit apparently departed from Toledo late on October 1st as the Marine Traffic website briefly had them listed as “arriving in Detroit” for fuel early this morning on October 2nd. They have since departed and are now upbound with a Marquette destination listed. Good to see them back out and running once again.

Well she left C&O #2 slip yesterday and was doing donuts in W Lake Erie overnight, so I would guess that some engine work was done that has to be run in.

Does anyone know what’s going on with the American spirit? It’s been in Toledo at least 4 days now and it seems there ais is turned off.
