Traffic for the 18th looks to be pretty light. Right now I don't see anything in the system that would be going through upbound. The only downbound vessel is potentially the Victory/James L Kuber now on it's way to Marquette for a load. The Saginaw is unloading in the Soo presumably to come through downbound but that could happen Tuesday.

In case you may have missed it, the Soo Locks last day has been extended now until January 18th. There should still be a fair amount of traffic for the locks as some boats load their last and final cargoes, while some will head for layup in Duluth and also up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Good luck on your trip up to the Soo.

I'm thinking of driving to the Soo for the last day. Does anyone have an estimate on the number of boats to lock through on the last day?
