Actually it was above below lock 8 and the upbound algosoo lost steering and went adrift near rameys bend and the downbound CSL Niagara hit her they tried to stop but no such luck.

I believe Algosoo and CSL Niagara met below lock 1.

Has anyone heard anything about two ships coliding in the wellend canal in the recent days? I heard it was a ULS and a ALgoma ship
