mcnearney where are you located, i can help you out, i have tonns of Frq's, i cant really help you with police since most have gone to a P25 encripton and all you here is data,
also you can tune in to my live welland canal feed at

also http://www.radioreference.com has tonns of frq's being uploaded for your lisening

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but go to the home page, click on Facts and Figures, and you'll find a link for scanner frequencies. If you have a copy of a Know Your Ships handy there is also a listing of marine frequencies.

Can anyone help me on how to program a scanner? I am not sure if I have the right radio freq. Thank you for your help.
